Books & Downloads · Working Publication Library

Free working edition 0.2 — November 3, 2026. 19 pages in both US Letter and A4. Six lessons, six worksheets, three worked examples and five answered questions. Original content and quantity/state distinctions are retained; FAA and traveler-planning source context was rechecked. Uses current DTP publication branding. Content complete for this released edition; final reader, native-file, print and accessibility reviews remain open.

Pack with a clear return check

Build a trip-specific list, assign shared belongings to one person and bag, test a reference copy, agree on an away-from-home task, record changes and check what came back. Keep needed, obtained, packed, transferred and returned states separate.

PDFs are print-and-write, not fillable. The page map connects six lessons to PACK-01 through PACK-06 worksheets. Print one test page at actual size; Word pagination may differ.

Work through three fictional examples

A road-trip subset distinguishes six records from eight physical items and leaves a missing borrowed flashlight unresolved. A flight example records a power-bank transfer when a bag changes from cabin to gate-checked. A household handoff distinguishes three agreed checks from two confirmed results. No example is a complete recommended packing list or a real journey.

FAA spare-battery guidance and the State Department traveler checklist were checked November 3, 2026. Actual item, carrier and destination restrictions still need their own review. The planner supplies no travel clearance, universal baggage allowance, care plan or claim deadline.

Use the related records

Use Before You Go for deeper rule, provider and transaction evidence. The shorter packing exercise remains in Practical Pages. For care responsibilities, use the household and care-handoff companions; use Home Inventory for an item’s longer history.

Working-edition review limits

Quantity checks, record-state consistency, PDF page references, text bounds and worksheet layouts passed verification. Reader usability, native Word, physical-print and assistive-technology acceptance remain open. PDFs are untagged; no PDF/UA or screen-reader compliance is claimed.

Keep completed traveler and household records private. Do not send access codes, identity or financial details, or private care records to DTP. Personal and household completion, printing and private backups are permitted; see Copyright & Reuse and Terms & Limitations.
