Eight lessons and eight printable worksheets cover a master index, credentials, medical reports and images, property paperwork, inherited material, authorized account routes, family memories, and retrieval/retention review. Three fictional worked examples and five answered questions show how to record gaps and uncertain information.

Start with a small collection

Give each record and copy a distinct ID. Record the location, the specific copy checked, the observed result and the next question. A readable copy does not establish factual accuracy, ownership, legal sufficiency or authority to act. Keep completed worksheets private and omit passwords, recovery phrases and unnecessary sensitive detail.

The worked case follows five record IDs and six listed copies: five copy checks produce three complete/readable results, one partial result and one unavailable result; one listed copy remains unchecked. Separate examples preserve uncertain dates and distinguish an acknowledged packet from an authority decision or an unsent correction.

Sources and working-edition limits

Source context checked November 3, 2026: HHS Medical Records and CFPB Managing Someone Else’s Money. These support limited access and role distinctions; they do not decide an individual’s rights or authorize an action.

PDF page references, copy counts, text bounds and worksheet layouts have been checked. Reader, native Word, physical-print and assistive-technology acceptance remain open. PDFs are untagged and intended for printing and handwriting; they are not fillable. This organizer supplies no medical interpretation, legal advice, universal retention deadline or security certification.
