CONTENTS PREVIEW · IN DEVELOPMENT

One question. A trail you can follow.

The guided workbook is being developed around a 32-part sequence. The aim is not to fill every space in a family tree, but to connect a question, the evidence behind it and the story you can support.

Ask & organize

Set a research boundary, identify people without merging them, record relationships and build an event timeline.

Trace & compare

Keep a source register, log unsuccessful searches, compare conflicting details and leave unresolved questions visible.

Tell & preserve

Prepare optional interviews, inventory photographs, draft a supported account and leave a clear handoff for the next researcher.

Related resources under development include oral-history prompt cards, a photo and document log, reunion planning sheets and a family-history workshop kit. Their formats and any shared contents will be stated separately.

The 32 parts describe the manuscript structure, not a final page count. Final worksheets, pricing and release date are still being prepared; orders are not open.

Privacy and permissions

Begin with what you know, distinguish evidence from assumptions, and obtain permission before recording or sharing information about living people. Do not submit private family records to public feedback forms.

Other resources
